A Finished Business Plan and More Beats Created.

Hello,

This post is a week and a half late due to circumstances outside of my control delaying my meeting with Richard Clarke. However, during that week and due to the lack of focus on my professional development module outside of meetings with Richard I felt both obliged and inspired to create more (Deep Sub) beats.

This time i have been working on a Hip Hop beat named "Solar". This beat takes inspiration from artists such as Drake and Kendrick Lamar as it is more reminiscent of their new style of Hip Hop rather than the likes of The Wu Tang Clan and Grandmaster Flash's original Hip Hop sound. You can find a link to a teaser of this beat by clicking "here".

I also spent a large majority of my time over the past month finishing my first Grime beat. Grime beats have become very diverse recently with artists such as Stormzy and Bugzy Malone branching away from the original hard hitting sound of Grime. Despite this i felt like the best way to prove myself as a Grime producer would be to create an original sounding Grime track. This is my attempt at doing so, "Raptors".

Yesterday I had my third meeting with Richard Clarke. In this meeting we focused on finished the business plan and starting work on a powerpoint presentation to impress IndieGoGo investors. With all of the shareholders accounted for it was time to figure out alternate revenue streams to sit along side the creation and selling of beats. The other forms of revenue decided are predicted to be obtain through odd consultancy jobs and writing producing songs for artists. With these revenue streams combined the Richard and I were able to come up with a justified financial summary of the company and thus the business plan was complete.

After this we moved on to starting the Powerpoint for IndieGoGo. We created the shell to the presentation and the main slides are as follows: The Idea, The Audience, The Challenges, The Road Map and The Rewards. These are the key areas that investors care about so for the next meeting i was told to give each of these areas a think as to what they mean to Deep Sub Beats.

Thanks for reading and take care,

Jacob Baggs.
